The broccoli with macadamia nuts and fresh scallop is an all-time favourite. I like the fact that macadamia nuts are used instead of walnuts as they are packed with minerals, antioxidants and vitamins that are essential for optimum health and wellness. They also add sweetness and a crunchy texture to the dish. http://jenniferyeolifestyle.blogspot.sg/2017/01/classic-lunar-new-year-creations-at-gu.html
I don’t think I need to mention about the freshness of this Steamed Red Grouper. This will be a dish which will be a hit with my mom who LOVES fish and is done just the way she likes it. It is truly fresh and it’s not a surprise since the ingredients are handpicked and quality checked by Gu Ma herself. I even packed the reminder of this dish so that I could make fish porridge with it. Don’t waste the meat and the sauce! https://lynnlly.com/2017/01/10/delectable-chinese-new-year-set-dishes-at-gu-ma-jia/
My favorite, favorite dish of the lot! Probably it is just personal preference, but I love the taste of ginseng and this isn’t particularly overpowering. In fact, this dish tasted kinda’ healthy and reminded me of something that my mum would cook. The bowl I had was rich in ingredients! I actually finished everything in my bowl within a short time span. A must-try, in my opinion! It had a lingering sweet aftertaste. http://mitsueki.sg/2017/01/05/cny-reunion-dinner-2017-gu-ma-jia-%E5%A7%91%E5%A6%88%E5%AE%B6/
It is more common to find peanuts, or cashews stir-fried with broccoli, which is a shame because this version with macadamia nuts was delicious! I appreciated the richer nutty flavours from the roasted macadamia nuts and enjoyed the crunch that broccoli and macadamia provided. http://365days2play.com/2017/01/03/chinese-new-year-2017-gu-ma-jias-homey-and-affordable-cny-fare/
And finally, my favourite dish among all – Ginseng Fortune Chicken. Double boiled chicken with premium ingredients such as scallops, sea cucumber and fish maw with ginseng and roasted pork made up a pleasant tasting stock. I love the genuine taste of ginseng in soup with a taste of herb. http://www.foodgem.sg/food/chinese/gu-ma-jia/

These timeless classics are delicately handcrafted and baked to glorious golden brown. The White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk and Macadamia nuts is my all-time favourite. I think the combination of the salted egg yolk and macadamia nuts is heavenly, giving it a well-balanced sweetness. http://jenniferyeolifestyle.blogspot.sg/2016/09/over-moon-with-these-divine-mooncakes.html
Tender pork ribs are served in aluminum foil to retain the juiciness and natural flavors of the ribs. Drenched in sweet tangy sauce, the dish is sweet and savory at the same time. An exquisitely delectable dish, it is a favourite among Gu Ma Jia regulars.
This is my favourite dish!!!!!!! It is so juicy and tasty and it has a slight alcoholic taste. Perfect dish for me!
This dish features Kai Lan vegetables cooked in two styles, blanched and fried. Talk about uniqueness!!! Crispy Kai Lan leaves are deep friend to perfection, coupled with thick and crunchy Kai Lan stems. The fried crispy tasty leaves are a huge hit, especially with kids!
